Want, in navolging van het grote succes in 2016, vindt ook dit jaar weer ‘Kunst aan Huis’ plaats!
Op acht verschillende adressen, in het zuidelijk deel van het Statenkwartier, exposeren 16 kunstenaars. Zij liggen op loopafstand van elkaar.
Het tentoongestelde werk varieert van sieraden, schilderijen, beeldhouwwerken, keramiek en fotokunst tot assemblages.
Kortom: voor elke kunstliefhebber wat wils!

Goldsmith, creations in precious metals
In the design of her gold and silver jewellery, Queenie often uses precious stones and minerals, and she is constantly searching for original ways of combining them. Since 2007, Queenie has had her own atelier – Zee Zand Zilver – where she creates jewellery for sale to the public, and to commission.
HELMI SCHELLINGER
Ceramics
Helmi’s interest in architecture is revealed in the small cupboards she makes from clay. Besides the intersecting, stacking, and merging, even the means of opening and closing play a part in the creating the whole. A playful approach to glazing, and the use of ‘raku’ firing, help the frequently taut forms lose some of their severity.
